At some point some student will say some version of  “anything is o.k as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else.”

Probably right, possibly true.  And so now you just have to have a justice conversation.  Beds, tables, the history of everything, or almost.

And now the shadows and the grid make everyone someone, or anyone.

But with everyone anyone you should be able to change the context without upsetting too much anyone else’s way of contextualizing themselves, or those they need around them--offering context.

Unless you pretend the context is everything, or always pretend-able.
