Hey Museums, let the people vote!
- Increase patronage by hosting exhibit in which each piece is by a different local artist. Your curators can choose and champion who and which.
- In front of each is Plexiglas vote counter into which patrons drop a disc.
- Discs are printed with the name of the outfit that purchased it. (Thus an ad.)
- A disc provides one free admit to the museum. Bank buys five thousand, Joe’s Pizza buys five.
- Winning art piece goes in museum collection or one disc is picked and depositor gets the art? (With that incentive individuals might buy their own discs. A chance to win the art lottery.)
- Winning curator gets bragging rights in Museum (or fired for having pedestrian tastes?)
