Audiophiles listen to music with their eyes closed more than do ipod-ers.  Moved by good tunes, ipoders close their eyes to the auditory horror of a commute.  They move with abandon or sit assertively and free from the now.

Audiophiles close their eyes to hear what they are hearing, measuring how much they just heard as compared to other such hearings.   ‘Critical listening' it is sometimes called, positive measurement in which includes time free from any need to measure now.
